about

All life is a journey, an erratic and adventurous journey through the unknown, made of continuous accelerations and slowdowns, encounters and collisions, smiles and tears, nights and days, summers, springs and winters, in an immutable yet always different,
always new cycle. Every passing moment steals a piece of us and relegates it to the past - one minute more, and we are not who we were before - but the journey keeps going relentlessly towards the future.

The Ancient Greeks knew this path couldn't be so straightforward - it is not in our nature as human beings - and, in fact, in Greek mythology and literature, the journey was usually associated with "nostos," the return. The protagonist, after a series of
hardships, returns to the starting point, back home, with new mindfulness owed to the awareness and experience of what he went through. Nostos is indeed a circular path that leads to facing exclusion, rootlessness, grief. Nostos implies nostalgia, the suffered desire to go home, and finally find oneself again.

Music, like life, is a journey, the unique and ever new journey of those who write, play, and listen to it. Music is life itself: its mystery, elusiveness, its charm, and also its contradictions.

If life sometimes compels us to move away from ourselves, from our dreams, after a certain time we come back home - back to our truest self - who we were isn't who we are, because we achieved a new strength and awareness. No matter how long and tortuous the path may be: if at the end of the journey the return is to ourselves, then rediscovering and finding will always be worth it.
